What to Expect from Joint Replacement Rehab
Expect to feel at ease. At SANO Physio, you’re in the safest hands.
Personalised, Clinician-Led Approach
Every joint replacement is unique. Our physiotherapists work with Brisbane orthopaedic surgeons to create personalised tailored protocols for your surgery type, recovery timeline and functional goals.
Once we begin your treatment plan we may seek further referrals or tests/scans as needed to continually monitor your rehabilitation.
Evidence-Based Post-Op Rehabilitation
Our rehab phase follows best-practice guidelines and includes early mobilisation to reduce swelling and pain, progressive range-of-motion exercises, strength rebuilding, gait and balance training with a focus on long-term mobility.
Physiotherapy appointments may be blended with group rehabilitation classes to improve the outcomes of your rehabilitation.
Technology-Enhanced Support & Tracking
We integrate isometric testing, video-based feedback, telehealth tools and digital exercise solutions to track your recovery and help you stay motivated.
Exercise therapy through our Telehab exercise prescription app will facilitate more accurate home-based rehabilitation. Everything we do is guided by, and in partnership with you.
